Most people would find intimidating the idea of suddenly moving away and start a new life at a new High School. But Temperance took it as just an opportunity to enjoy new things, make new friends, and go new places. And it was so nice that she met Gabriel and Erin. They are very friendly, and allegedly "The Work Juice Café" is everyone's favorite meetup place for all kind activities, including this tutoring program that pair up students across the different high schools, which is a neat idea. Especially, Even if Temperance haven't done any official tutoring before. But Erin thinks her grades are good, and the tutoring program's organizer is rather friendly.
Caine nods at Gabe, and his eyes flicker over to Henry briefly.
"...Fine." He glances down at his work, noting a mistake, "You should pay more attention to your own work, let the tutor do his job," he says shortly.
Caine gives him a blank look, "You should work somewhere with less distractions, then."
Gabriel coughs, "Thank you, Caine. We have a good system worked out. Erin should be out soon if you want to wait for her up by the bathrooms?" He knows Caine prefers the quieter upstairs whenever he has to be in this café, anyway.
Caine hmms quietly, looking between them, but nods and retreats from the table, heading towards the stairs.
"I'm not sure 'emo' is the right category?" Gabriel says distractedly, watching him leave, "But he's certainly a quiet one."
Caine heads for the stairs, taking them two at a time and then pausing up at the top to look around there, too. He catches sight of Robin, grimaces just the smallest amount, and then sees Ezra. He pauses for a moment, staring.
Math can be very hard, but Ezra tries his best to teach the moving parts of the problem.
"I don't know, maybe he likes... studying," he counters, lamely. What does Caine do for fun?
"If that is the case, then I guess your fancy school is not giving him enough homework, or he has another reason for being like that. Maybe he is always secretly with a sour taste in his mouth? Which, too bad, he is already quite pretty even with the sour face."
Gabriel shakes his head, a little exasperated, and redirects Gabe's attention onto his homework.
Upstairs, Erin steps out of the bathroom... and sees Caine's back, as he's still watching Ezra discretely. Impishly, she decides to shut the door with force just shy of a slam, making a loud enough noise to draw attention from around the upper floor.
Ezra reflexively looks. Then he looks back at the table, as not to be impolite, then he looks away again, but glancing at Caine.
Caine starts, half-turning to look at her - missing Ezra's glance in the process - and then glares a little in response to the look on her face, flustered.
"Sorry!" She says, eyes laughing, "That was a little loud."
She meets Ezra's eyes past Caine, and smiles wide at him, "Ezra, hi!" She steps past Caine towards their table, "And Robin," she nods at the other boy, "You two getting along?"
"I am, Robin is pleasant company." Ezra pats Robin's back like the other boy is many years younger.
