How does being the top lieutenant of an Evil Overlord manage to be so boring? It's all torture and kidnapping and sending out the horde to conquer more territory and sure, that can be fun, but really, there's only so much you can do before it starts to get kind of samey. Or at least, the kind she can get hanging around Daevon's palace does, which is where he likes her when there's no active conflict on. And she hasn't quite reached the point where she decides whatever terribly boring punishment he'll visit on her is worth the short-term excitement of ignoring his orders.
...Still, there's nothing stopping her from going wherever she wants in the palace, at least. Including the most restricted of restricted areas, where only the overlord and the guard minions ever go, otherwise. Wandering around the vaults, imagining the chaos she could cause if she ever decided she'd had enough of this and set off one of the devices here does take the edge off. As does bothering the minions.
She leans over the railing up on the walkway overlooking one of the more interesting devices in the vaults, hands coming up to cradle her chin. The guard to her right twitches slightly, suppressing an attempt to pull her back from it, and she smirks into her palms.
"Do you know what this is, Guardsman?" She wonders idly.
