She then pushes through all of the Jedi, to get to Thekla, and wrap her up in her arms tightly. "Adi'ka," she murmurs into her head.

Thekla lets out a very happy noise, and cuddles close into her mother. "I'm okay, you're so dramatic."

Kaz sighs heavily, before straightening up and pulling his smile back onto his face. "I am so sorry about Cyborg No-Manners over there. I tried to tell her I couldn't sense anything bad, but she hears that strangers are near Thekla and turns into a damn mynock."

He grins at Ri-Sei. "Nice to see you again. Thank you, for helping tiny blue."

She smiles back. "You're welcome. It was - the least I could do."

"And it's nice to see all you, despite - " she waves her hand vaguely.

"Well, now you know how hard my life is. I'm trying to make a dishonest living with the galaxy's angriest woman."

Kyn lifts her head to glare at Kaz.

...She really shouldn't laugh. Still, she's pretty obviously amused.

There's a slight tick to Kyn's lips, then she goes back to curling her entire body around her daughter. 

"Masterfully done, padawan. And you as well, sir." Karl bows to Kaz.

Who looks baffled, and then awkwardly curtsies back. "Kaz. And you are?"

"Karl Thekla, Jedi Master. Though you could probably sense that, if you had enough training."

"Wait - Thekla? Really?" 

There is a very muffled giggle from the other Thekla in the room. 

"Strange, isn't it? How small the galaxy can be."

"Maybe the Force has a sense of humor," Ri-Sei says, dryly.

"Or is far less imaginative than we give it credit."

"It's a good strong name."

"True. I'm honoured to share it with one so brave."

Thekla's face emerges enough from her mother's hug to smile bashfully at him.

Karl smiles back, but turns serious as he looks back to Kaz. "We only meant to linger to ensure the girl was safe. We can go, if you would prefer."

She'd be sad to, but... She nods.

"Are you certain that she's well?" Kyn's voice is stern. 

"Muu-uuuum-"

"The recklessness likely remains chronic, but I trust Master Thekla on her physical ailments."

"You hear that, Kyn? Incurable recklessness!"
