"Your Intution should warn you if someone lies to you, and may begin warning you of the intentions of others if you practise paying attention to it. It also provides limited precognition in combat, which gives Vongola an enormous advantage there."

He looks between them.

"Would the two of you join myself and my colleague for lunch? We can explain more of this situation afterwards."

The twins exchange a look.

They're nowhere near any nice restaurants - and it'll definitely be a nice one, judging by this guy's outfit. Going to lunch with him and his colleague will probably involve getting into a car with them. That sounds like a bad idea. Early 60s or not, if he has the flames and is trained in fighting with them, they wouldn't stand a chance.

Though, given that fact, they're probably already screwed either way if he wants to kidnap them.

...Practise paying attention, huh? He focuses on the man, trying to be... open to observations from the void, or whatever.

His intentions are pretty much benign, the void insists. He wants to get to know them, to give them training, to take them back to his friend where they'll be safe. He's a little wary of Alex.

Huh. Why him specifically? Well, he supposes he's been more aggressive than Jamie during this conversation. Also, maybe it has something to do with his type apparently being called 'Wrath Skies'.

He nudges Jamie, glancing over at him with a nod.

Jamie takes the cue, "Sure, we'll come to lunch."

He glances down at himself, "Uh, are we really dressed for it, though?"

Probably tank tops and t-shirts aren't appropriate for fancy restaurants.

"They've seen worse, I'm sure," he says. Nothing a bit of bribery can't fix.

He turns to lead them down off the roof, surprisingly nimble for a man of his years.

His colleague is waiting for them out on the street, leaning against the car, smoking a cigarette.

So these are the heirs, hey? They certainly look like Rico. Though, the dye job on the one makes him look more like Xanxus - that'll be a problem. Maybe they can convince him to go back to blond.

"Salve," he greets, "I'm Ganauche - I'll be your driver this afternoon." He offers a sarcastic, over-fancy bow.

Visconti gives him a stern look for the sarcasm, "Ganauche," he warns.

He laughs, "Sorry, sorry. Come, then, into the vehicle with you," he opens the back seat door for them, motioning them inside.

Jamie grins at him as they climb into the car - something tells him he's going to like this one.

Alex is still wary, but the reasons to go with them still stand. He nods at Ganauche as he passes him.

Closing the door behind them, he drops his cigarette butt on the ground, stamps it out, and then continues around the car to the driver's side door.

Once all four of them have seatbelts on, he starts the car and turns them towards a restaurant they'd picked out earlier.

"So how suspicious are we so far," he asks the twins, "I want to keep track."

"Pretty suspicious," Jamie grins at him, "But we got in the car, at least?"

Visconti frowns out the window, annoyed as usual by Ganauche's irreverence. But, if it works, it works. He says nothing.

Ganauche still notices. Uh oh, annoyed Cloud. Subject change.

"So how long ago did you two go active?"

"Three weeks," Jamie says, subdued.

"Probably don't want to talk about how, ey? What have you figured out since then?"

"Not much about Alex's. Mine let me... multiply things, we think? Senses, force, objects. I've been working on narrowing down what I multiply. I'm starting to get down to smaller stuff faster, but it still takes a while."

"Your brother has Wrath Flames, kid. He's gonna have to learn to edge the Storm out if he wants to do much with them but burn things.

"You haven't figured out any Sky applications yet? Empathic Projection is the first thing most people do with it - changing other peoples' moods to match yours. It's good for morale, and negotiations."

"No," Jamie says, leaning into Alex.

"Edge out the Storm?" He asks flatly. What the hell does that even mean?

"Wrath Skies are what we call Stormy Inverted Skies with the Intuition - so only Vongola, that's your bloodline gift. Normal skies can notice lies and sometimes intentions, but they have to actively be trying. You guys just know.

"The combination of Inverted Sky and Storm personalities usually makes a person who hates deception. Being able to tell that everyone around you is lying a lot of the time, and having a hot temper like that - yeah, you guys tend to fly off the handle a lot. So, Wrath."

He gets back to the original question, "Storm Flames tend to overwhelm any others," he explains, "They'll Disintegrate any technique you try to use. So you have to learn to only use your Sky."
