"It's okay -" And she talks about dorming magic human teenagers; she went to magic school and it's pretty well set up to be a good environment for turning out acceptably educated humans with useful magical skills. They will obviously have different educational resources in Tirion but if Maitimë picked bright kids they can self-educate given stuff to read.
