[I don't have access to enough information about Earth to guess if it was designed by Eru. But I am sure her reach extends there, and that if she thought Earth was not improving her story she would have never permitted a portal to exist.]

Well that's concerning. [Would she close the portal if she changed her mind?]

[She would cause it to not be the case that the portal opened in the first place if she changed her mind. Eru exists outside time.]

[What does that mean?]

[I suppose from your perspective it means she is a precog with infinite range.]

[Except she doesn't interfere with psion precogs.]

[She set everything in motion at the very beginning. She does not dither with it moment to moment.]

[Is that why she doesn't talk to people?]

[She'd talk to people if she'd written her talking to people into the story. She doesn't talk to people because she thinks this way makes a better story.]

Drop, bounce.

Not especially helpful but I don't know what I was expecting.

Yeah. It seems suspect that Earth would be planned-for though, what with the distributing prophecies that are supposed to be unavertable and intransmissible thing.

Yeah. I believe that she could've closed the portal if she pleased, though.

Yeah, I buy that.

So. This isn't planned, but the planner approves. What does that mean -

Depends if she didn't see us coming but can now see the outcome, or if she's just rolling with a surprise.

Maybe it's a bad idea to take people to Endorë, relief efforts on Earth seem less tempting targets of divine intervention-

Maybe. It's - so tempting, but - maybe.

Soo tempting. It's what we've wanted for so long - but it was only our own lives we were risking, we weren't dragging anyone into Eru's jurisdiction -

There's nowhere on Earth that affords starting from scratch the same way.

We could hold out for one of the other planets - especially if a Vala would make a portal -

Might be a harder sell, but -  yeah, maybe worth it - ugh -

Ugh, agrees Isabella.

So do we hire someone to tell us what happens if we go to the Valar, or - not -
