Time for Haru to again play How Long Can He Shut Up. It's not very long but he can try asking yes-or-no questions so Xavier can just go "mmhm" or "nn-nn".

Until Xavier, apparently, falls back asleep.

Haru hugs a Xavier-arm morosely and tries to fall asleep too and manages to have sort of miserable daydreams that don't involve talking aloud.

After another half hour and change, he runs a hand through Haru's hair.  "Good morning, properly."

"Good morning, how'd you sleep?"

"Acceptably.  You've been alright?"

"I'm alive. The week is going to suck. Awakening sucks."

"I'm sorry.  I hope the last while hasn't been too standout-awful from that baseline."

"It might be a good idea for you and Ariel to be on offset sleep schedules so I can go bother her if you're sleeping in and I'm awake?"

"Good idea.  I'll let you pitch her on it, given."

"Yeah. I don't know how much she's likely to object to waking up early?"

"You might have better luck getting her to stay up into relevantly-early times," he admits.

"That'd work if she'd share the bed, I could stay up with her and then if I got up first come bother you. Dunno if she'd go for that."

"You can certainly ask her, once she's awake."  He steers Haru back onto the side of the bed facing the wall.  "I'm going to get dressed."

"Okay." Haru will do that too, he has clothes now.
