Well, Meksi was very upset and had another opportunity lined up so she's working for a different studio now. They can find him someone else to replace her and anyone else who can't stand it even post-cleaning.

It's not his fault. He would have done the cleaning thing before if anyone realized he was supposed to.

Anyway, he's fine with all new people if the director and choreographer - the one from that one movie with the rogue planet - are the same as before.

They don't say "well you could have just NOT EATEN PEOPLE" because they have any sense of how to make a business deal.

The director will stay on and the choreographer will if they pay more.

So should he fly to the studio again or what? He remembers where it is relative to here.

Yeah, he can come back.

He does so and lands gracefully in that one loading dock.

"They did, yeah, and I got forwards of your correspondence with Meksi too. Do you need anything right now?"

They probably threw out all the stuff that was in that set warehouse, right? Some new privacy dividers would be good if they did.

Huh, they're not nearly as excited about this as Meksi. Well, whatever. This whole mess is kind of an awful collision but he refuses to feel too bad about it.

"Yes, they did, but I got you some more in advance of your coming, you can set them up now if you like."

He will go do that and also ask Temnin what the schedule looks like. He can practice excluding greenscreen material from his camouflage if there's nothing more urgent to do.

There's nothing more urgent; nobody was positive till today that they were going to restart the project (working title: Project Soufath, it'll probably be called something else after there's a more firmly nailed down script and they want to get teasers online). They're going to re-issue the casting call for the costar and resume script workshops, though.

He's glad this thing can still happen! Cheerful camouflage practice ensues.

His assistant comes by to translate emails for him: Shian Epechi had been very interested before but in everyone's absence picked up a TV show and will be shooting on location on a moon for the foreseeable future. They're having other folks read for the role starting tomorrow.

Making a movie on a moon is an interesting idea! And now he kind of wants to experience weak gravity, and learn to move and fight in it, but he's got lots of time for that later. Whoever that is, hopefully they will have fun.

Can you see if the flying harness someone designed can get remade and - someone grey I guess - wants to try flying with me? I never got to do that before. It seems important to practice that well in advance. The mannequin was a little tricky to fly with but an actual person might be different. Less floppy. And it sounds fun.

The rigger can make it again, yeah. Here's him and a stuntgrey!

He is so excited! Carrying an Amentan who can hold and use tools while he flies is a really neat concept and he thinks they'll have fun!

The stuntgrey's pretty into it! The rigger is cooler but he buckles the thing on and shows the stuntgrey where to sit and gets her strapped in.

He sends a low nudge-y stream of thought about what he's about to do. He's about to walk forwards a bit - and then does it. He's about to turn around - and does that.

Are you getting that alright? I think if when I'm about to do something you get ready, you can stop yourself from flopping around like a mannequin and it'll be easier for both of us.

"Yeah, I can hear you. It should help, easier than riding a horse."

Of course it'll be easier, I am no mere horse!

He's about to take a charging dash forwards! He's about to start flapping! And now they're in the air! The feeling of wind pushing up against your wings is just the best! Higher, higher, higher...

"Whooooo!"

He's about to bank gently left!

His left wing squeezes against her leg as it's tucked closer in for the turn. There's a little bit of a freefall sensation, he's losing speed and height while not flapping and taking a long, slow turn above the studio.

How advanced should I get?

I think I'm doing okay so far but if you change direction real suddenly it's bad for my head!
