And Captain Nakano is waiting to meet them.

Hashirama steps forward to take over the talking, greeting her a bit slowly in her own language.

She smiles in return, very slightly. 

"You've come a long way already."

"A little way," he says. "I don't know all."

"You'll get there."

"Sometime."

And, using the translation software: "What did you want to talk about?"

"First, are you both settling in alright?"

"I think so? Sasuke?"

He nods. "I am."

"That's good. Do feel free to let Mal know when you need things - flying through space is often pretty boring for me, so I'm interruptible in general."

"Thanks! We will. I'd like to talk more, too. Practice the language, but also you're good company."

Sasuke nods.

She smiles, softly. "Thank you. Feel free to hang out in the common areas and talk to the crew, too. They're pretty curious about you both."

"I will. Sasuke might prefer to get caught up on reading."

"That's entirely fair. The lounges can get overwhelming for me, and I'm more used to everything."

"I'm not usually one to get overwhelmed by people. Still, it's a problem I can see having."

"You do seem the social type."

"I usually am! Especially compared to my brother..."

"What's he like?"

"He's very - exact. Likes everything a certain way. He's also more curious than anyone I've ever met. Sometimes - not really recklessly so, he won't sneak into an enemy camp to see what they're doing, but he'll mix dangerous chemicals in a lab to see what happens - though he insists it's all with proper safety precautions."

"I know a lot of brilliant scientists like that."

"Yeah, that's - pretty much what his thing is? I bet he'd love this place. No real war, just discovering things."

"Well, hopefully we can bring him here, sometime."

"I'd like that."

"Regular travel between our worlds would be ideal, I think."
