Harry is so delighted all day! Ghost was a way better toy than Nick or Sinead! He hopes he'll get to play with her again.

Raine is noticeably quieter and more withdrawn than usual that day. 

Lev is noticeably quieter and more withdrawn and won't stop looking at Raine.

He keeps an eye on both of them, keeps more of one when they merge with the girls' side. 

"So good to see you again, little Ghost."

— she's already next to Marlo, if Harry tries touching her there will be obstacles. She doesn't answer. 

"Aw, someone has decided to ruin all my fun." 

"Nobody has decided to ruin all your fun." His face is very carefully neutral but anyone who's seen him play football with Asher recognizes that posture as 'bracing himself for physical impact.' 

Harry looks Marlo up and down with a good deal of appreciation. "Ooh, are you going to defend him from me? I could use a punch in the jaw from a"-- licking his lips-- "big, strong man."

"Not interested." 

"That doesn't have to stop me."

Marlo is a solid head taller than Harry is and visibly significantly stronger. He raises an eyebrow. 

Harry leers.

He does not respond to the leering.

(Next to him, Raine shrinks, very slightly.) 

"Oh, you liked it," he says to Ghost. "You were begging for it." 

She doesn't answer, doesn't flinch. 

"You were des-per-ate," he says, savoring the word, "for my cunt around your dick."

"Christine?" he says, louder than conversational volume but very deliberately not yelling. 

Christine looks up and then looks at Harry.

He hurries to a seat and then is very very quiet.

Raine relaxes once he's gone. 

Lev smiles at Jan and waves at her a little bit.

She smiles and waves a little bit back, from her seat. 

Christine pauses near Marlo and whispers something that might be "I am sorry about this."
