She bounces back! "I'm happy too! This is amazing, I'm so glad I found that book!"

"So am I! Ira's great, but I've missed having people who understand being human to talk to!"

"That does sound like it'd get lonely, yes."

"It did. On occasion. But it's better now."

Hug?

...Yeah, actually, ey could use a hug, that would be nice.

Hug!

Hug! It is a good hug!

Hisame is out of practice with hugging but she's very enthusiastic about it.

That makes two of them! But hey, enthusiasm can make up for a lot when it comes to hugs!

Indeed it does.

"I'm feeling better," Hisame says after a few minutes.

"Me too," Ant agrees, but doesn't immediately pull away. "Hugs are good for that."

She laughs. "I don't think anyone's hugged me since my sister."

"Well that's just wrong. I'm up for as many hugs as you want!"

"I'll take you up on that."

Ant bounces. And then yawns.

She giggles, says, "Don't start that!" and yawns too.

"Oh, gosh, yeah, let's not get caught in an endless round of yawning--"

Ant manages to stifle the next yawn that wants to emerge.

She laughs, and finds a nice patch of grass to flop on.

Ant flops down next to her, staring up.

"Today's been good. Thanks."

"No. Thank you. You brought us here. It's a nice change."
