"I can call, that's less suspicious. Sort of."

"Maybe? I think we shouldn't be obviously connected to you two. Just in case they want to retaliate."

"You can just knock, say you're with the county and you're doing a survey." 

"Sure... Do you think they would like to have a few words on gun control laws. Sounds like the ironic thing to ask."

"Mr. Argent has a weird sense of humor. That might help get you through the door." 

"I guess if that fails, we can just say we have something urgent to discuss," Vera muses.

"I think you and I should be the ones to go," Vii suggests, "Kato and the twins might've been seen with Scott."

"That should work. If they don't just shoot anybody who knocks."

"That is the reason why we are sending immortals, even if they aren't that trigger happy."

Scott finds this topic uncomfortable. He scoots towards Kato.

"So Operation: Argent Interrogation is ready?"

"I vote for calling it something cooler, but sure."

"I'm drawing a blank here. Fenris?"

"...Operation: Into the Lion's den?"

"Operation: Lion's Den. Keep it short, makes it more punchy. You're sure you don't need backup?"

"We can handle it," Vera reassures him.

"Or take suicide pills if something goes too wrong," Vii mentions.

"Well, that too."

Is Kato open for hugs?

Scott suddenly wants hugs.

"I think that's everything covered. Fenris? Vera? Am I missing anything obvious?"

Scott can have all the hugs.

"I believe so."

Well, if there's nothing else to plan, Scott wants to cuddle Kato until he falls asleep, is that okay?

That is actually ideal.

So he does.

The next day, Operation: Lion's Den can commence. 

Two absolutely normal-looking girls knock at the Argent's door. Except that one of them has white-hair, but that is likely just a fashion statement.

(Vera's wings are hidden beneath a heavy coat. Vii's are hidden magically.)
