"If there is something that can be done, they'll do it. Speaking of control, how yours is doing? I was told about anchors."

"It's kind of hard to find something good, that really keeps me calm. There's a girl at school, she helps."

"She must really be something." Kato says inviting him to continue.

"She's sweet, and funny, and she likes me."

"Well, liking you is pretty easy."

"I think she likes me. I guess we don't know each other that well. It helps a little, but Derek says an anchor can't be a person." 

"Yeah, the twins mentioned the concern. Did you try to anchor yourself to other things and only she worked?"

"I didn't really try to anchor to anything, it just happened."

"How romantic, an inconvenient magic feature, but at least is romantic."

"She doesn't know. About any of this."

Kato looks at Scott and gives him a hug. "It must be tough."

"I'm glad you're here." 

Hug. 

"I'm glad that I can provide emotional support in the shape of winged hugs. Assuming you're okay with the wings, they're new and I'm not sure how to be careful yet."

"Wings are okay. It's kind of nice. Cuddly."

Kato wing-cuddles. "Oh, definitely. I remember not quite believing the twins when they said the wings are great, but they are. I mean, I totally get why you don't want to get them, but I totally recommend."

"...Yeah. Maybe someday soon. Things are going to change around here, aren't they."

"What do you mean?"

"The twins want to change the world, I'm just trying to get used to it." 

Squeeze. "Its not like they're bad changes. And it isn't going to happen overnight."

"It's not bad to give to charities or to help people live longer and better lives. I'm just afraid of what happens when everyone finds out. It'll be a mess if they're not careful, and I don't know if they are careful. Fenris doesn't seem like he is."

Kato pulls away from the hug. "Fenris? Really?"

"He scares me. I know he means well."

"I won't deny that he is terrible at people skills."

"I don't think he's a bad person, but I'm afraid he won't think ahead. Felix seems sensible."

"I think they're both sensible. Not sure what you mean with not thinking ahead?"
