Isabella drops it.

It doesn't drop. 

"Oh, cool."

"Oh wow, you're a power mimic! Kind of! Can you do that from the beginning if I don't stop it, just from me being nearby?"

"Let's find out--I don't think I'm just a mimic, it felt like I could have canceled your cancel--maybe that's just higher-level mimicry, though, considering--"

"Hm, that might be non-mimicry depending on how it works with other kinds of spells but it's sure hard to test with mine." She reaches to pluck the feather out of the air and drops it again.

She tries to cancel the falling by referring to Isabella's magic. 

She can stop the feather! Isabella applauds.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" 

"What a great power!"

"I know! Oh, imagine the synergy possible, if I'm around several magical girls with powers that could combine in interesting ways--oh!" 

"Ooooooh! - You might not have it full force, a feather doesn't exert a lot of force."

"Even so! --And even then I expect I can improve on it, I just have to look way more fabulous." 

"Definitely time to get a pro."

"No kidding!!! Do you have any recommendations, I could just look online but it would be more difficult to evaluate them."

"I've never sought one out myself! Mercedes went to an expensive one once, Kathleen Morrison, but said she wasn't worth it."

"I'll avoid her, then. --I wonder if there are any in this mall."

"Seems more like an office building sort of profession than a mall one but we can walk around and check if you like?"

"Mm--no strong opinion either way, if there is one it would be nice to find them but I could also check online."

"Yeah, they probably all have websites by now, and reviews on the magical girl websites."

"What are the magical girl websites?" Katarzyna asks as she pulls out her phone and start searching for stylists in the area. "Googling provided possibilities but I was unsure which were actually frequented by magical girls."

"There's Elements of Style, and In Skirts, and I personally like Constellation Center - I plagiarize my club presentations from there because nobody else reads it, it's kind of dry."

"Ooh, good to know. I liked your presentation on hair but I got the sense you didn't like giving it."

"I didn't hate it. And I do sometimes learn useful things from the other girls. But it's not recreational, no."

"Why is it the rule that girls in this club give presentations instead of circle critiques?"
