September 10th, 2005. Ariadne finishes unpacking the final box in her newest room. She finds it odd, now in one of the largest homes in what is apparently referred to as the '09er' district for the rich of this measly town, to be pretending to be the older adult in her relationship with Toni. A laughable concept given that Ari had, first of all, attached her soul eternally to Toni's for everlasting life, and second of all, Toni is the one bankrolling their current adventure to this beachtown nightmare. Actually, Toni bankrolls all of their adventures, Ari is mostly just there to provide visually adult support and occasional magical help. So given her job in the friendship, here she is, pretending to be the legal guardian of one Antonietta Salvatore, 17 year old girl in her final year of high school, enrolled at Neptune High. Thankfully, Ariadne has a decanter of Scotch already unpacked in her own room, a glass ready to be filled with the comforting amber liquid. As she takes a sip, she addresses the lurking teen vampire she speaks of.
