”Mrrr words are hard, like being intimate was nice, not like even the sex specific specifically, being held and hugging and snuggling is nice and being friends is nice and I’d like to do more stuff like it? Just also…”

“A part of me is scared of going too far for me to keep up with or even want to keep up with long term and not being able to dial things back without hurting you or permanently damaging or even ruining our burgeoning friendship…”

Phee is just gonna bury her head in Eva’s neck now and take a break from speaking for a bit.

Eva softly hugs Phee. 

"The thing to do is say that up front, then. That way, if it happens, I was warned, you know? And look at you, you're saying it up front. So..."

She kisses Phee's forehead softly.

"Whatever happens, happens. If we stick together, that's okay; if we drift apart, that's okay too. I don't think pulling away out of the fear that you might need to later is... really all that sensible."

Something being insensible has never stopped us before.

Phee is going to crygiggle and needily hug Eva back.

”T-thanks and that’s a really good point yeah.”

She’s going to at least work up to look at Eva for this next part instead of hiding her face the crook of her neck.

”So um would you wanna try out trying out parts of being g-girlfriends together with me?”

Eva smiles, and meets Phee's gaze. "As much as you'd like to."

Phee beams back at Eva. “I think I’d like that very much.”

"Alright." 

Eva dips in, and gently kisses Phee on the lips. 

"Let's get ourselves cleaned up and back into the tent, then, and we can spend some time together. As girlfriendsish."

Phee will gently return the kiss and join Eva in doing that.
