Kalyna sits, and, after pleasantries are out of the way, says, "Well, I suppose the best place to start is with the vampire..."

It's quite the tale - the Lady Emiliya, shining beacon of hope for their small realm, who supposedly has been holding back the darkness without, has taken to visiting Kalyna of late.

Has, in fact, turned out to be an agent of the very darkness she claims to oppose - and no one will believe Kalyna except her own brother, and now danger closes in.

"Well then," Decima says with a little smile. "I do think our interests align quite nicely."

(An immortal vampire sounds like a fun challenge, after all.)

Kalyna nods. "Thank you," she says. "This... We'll need to leave this village, speak to a few people, but I think with your help... Maybe we can turn things around."

"I'm sure of it," Decima says, and then they fall into planning the overthrow of a vampire queen.
