This far from any land, the sea is calm, with just a gentle roll as the water moves. As far as the eye can see, there is glistening blue, uninterrupted by any sign of a shore.
High above, the sun beats down from a cloudless sky.
It is peaceful.
"It's good, but it's also sometimes frustrating. That said. We're all guilty of pushing ourselves beyond what we should."

Tana watches him for a moment, and then holds out her arms. "I could use a hug. I miss Rii already. So much it hurts."
Anders looks a little lost for a moment, but crosses the room and sinks into her arms. "I'm sorry. It can't be easy."
"For either of us," Tana agrees, hugging him tightly. "But we've got you. However you need that to be."
"We don't give up on people. We're stubborn like that. Sometimes even when they're trying to give up on us."
"You could come and try and impart some order to my domain. I'm a dreadful packrat and not very good at organising."
He can see when he's being nudged into something.
"I can try, though I did with Merrill and her shelves were promptly back to mess the next day."
Tana leads the way down into her lab, through the wall of noise that is the engine room. "I keep meaning to keep things in some kind of organisation," Tana says as she lets them into her lab. "But then I get distracted and well...it just never happens."
"Yes...I see you're working with the 'if I can see it, it's organised' system."
