"I'll give you the coordinates." Turns her attention back to the Seed. "And unless there's any survivors left, we'll be as well taking this with us."

"I'm not sure how to disconnect it safely. Or if that's even possible."

Ira sighs. "I suppose I should've expected that." She looks at it. "Let's see if we can lock the facility back down. I'll come back later."

"We'll need the control room, then. That way."

She nods and stalks in that direction, clipping her saber onto her belt as she does so.

They passed it on their way up. The control room is comparatively small, with holoscreens showing views throughout the facility and readouts of the technical systems' status.

Alright. Just how bad a state are the technical systems in?

Apart from the defenses they smashed on the way in, everything seems to be working.

"I think... we should be able to change the targeting parameters."

"Yes," Ira agrees. "As fun as fighting my way through piles of droids was, it would make things easier. Hm. We don't want it too broad."

Elleira investigates the terminals more closely.

"It's a genetic lock. Currently coded to the aliens' signal sequences."

"It shouldn't take to much to recode that." She considers Elleira. "I think narrowing it down to just the two of us will do the job."

"Scanner is..." she types and a tray slides out of the equipment. "Here. Needs a drop of blood."

She is quick to do what is needed.

Elleira does the same.

"This'll probably purge any we missed on the way in. Do you have any outstanding questions?"

"Not that they can answer."

"All right." She finalizes the update. There's a brief, muted burst of blasterfire. "Let's go, then."

"Do you have a ship?" she asks as she heads for the exit.

"Yes. Docked on the Promenade."

"Good. Mine's there as well. I'll provide you with coordinates for my base."

"I have one companion, a pilot. Will he be a problem for you?"

"Provided he isn't going to cause trouble, no."

"I think I can keep him in hand."

"See that you do. Otherwise he's liable to find himself dead."

"Fair enough."

She doesn't say anything for the rest of the journey.
