"Yeah, you could come to my world! Or anyone else's if you get them to open the door for you. But there's no guarantee of when you'd get a door back, that's the problem. Could be trapped. Different people get doors more or less often. Some every couple of days. Some once a month. Some only get them once or twice."

"Aww...that's so shiny but risky that I wanna cry. Like...if I knew I could get back then I'd happily follow you back just for fun and since you seem so damn...cool, and I wanna help save your world if it's really in trouble. But I don't wanna be trapped there forever. It's not like people who matter would miss me, but..."

Pause. Lightbulb!

"Don't be mad at me for saying this, but you could come see my world for a time? Like I have room in my place and you could come chill? Maybe then we could go to your world someday and make everything okay again?"

"...Time is supposed to be paused in my world as long as I'm going back eventually. Could be... Good. A break from rollicking around and trying to gather spirit orbs. But then again... I don't really want to get out of tune, you know? A few hours - a day or two - is a nice break. A month or two is long enough to forget how to fight."

"...if you're okay with me being super honest? I think you so deserve a break. You're trying to save a whole world, and...I think it'll make you stronger to have a bit of time with a friend to chill and recharge. If time's stopped, that's so cool and you won't miss anything "

Suddenly thoughtful

"We...we can be friends, right Link? You're just...so cool I wanna be around you, I wanna learn from you, and I wanna make things just a little bit better for you if I can."

"We can be friends! I just can't abandon Hyrule for, like, more than a couple days. Wouldn't be right." She makes a gesture and remembers she's holding a sword. With a shrug and another couple of taps, that disappears.

"Ooh wonderful! Of course, of course...you've got some serious world-saving to do after all~!"

Miroki takes off her grey wool jacket and plops down on a bar stool beside Link.

"You really should try one of these hot-chocolate things, you know - they're quite delicious."

"Yep, I've got a big job ahead of me. Can't forget it. Hot chocolate? What's chocolate?"

"Just tryyyyy it! You'll love it, I promise~"

Miroki hands Link her cup. To taste the delicious hot chocolate, of course.

Sip. "Hylia's- Sugar! So sweet! And I guess the other flavor is the chocolate? Mmm!"

Big sip. Almost a gulp. "Gack. This is apparently a drink best enjoyed slowly."

Miroki giggled. "I told you you'd love it! Just remember, its for sipping, not inhaling~"

"Do you really not have chocolate in your...world?"

Sip, sip. "Nnnnnope. It's a little like... Well, not really, it's not really like anything I've had before except sugar."

"I mean, you're not really like anything I've had before either~" says Miroki as she playfully pokes Link on the nose.

Haha. "I bet. Nobody here has proper ears and they've never heard of Hylians. You all look like Gerudo to me! Except light skin and shorter."

Miroki giggles and reaches out to touch Link's ears! "They're so...adorable~"

Link leans back as soon as she moves. "Woah hey wait a sec, personal space? You want me to go and grab your nose suddenly in return or what?"

Miroki freezes at the sudden movement and pulls back, contrite. "I'm so sorry! Sorry sorry sorry they were just so cute!"

"...It's okay. I mean, I guess where I'm from you don't touch people's faces, you know? Unless it's like kissy stuff, which, uh, don't know you very well yet."

"Yeah, I'm super duper sorry, I shoulda known since you carry a sword and shit around, yeah? But..." A mischievous grin formed on Miroki's face "...are you really sayin' you don't wanna grab my nose?"

"You won't find out unless I drink a lot more booze."
