She is safety; she is refuge; she is protection. She is the enfolding embrace of night, in all its gentleness.
Her name is Stella.
She doesn't remember where she came from, but she can feel that someone needs her. More than one someone. A lot of someones, actually. Some of them are outside her domain, but that doesn't matter, not when she can fix things for the ones that are.
She reaches out to help, to heal, to safeguard.
She kind of never expected to get this far, but hell yes?
Her headmates are all cheering.
"I did, actually, worry you'd find that unwelcome. But hell yes?"
She's smiling hard enough her cheeks hurt a bit, and blushing brightly. "And honestly complicated romance is fine? I'm not actually sure I know how to be fully monogamous. Never really had anything like normal jealousy, as long as I still get any attention."
I think dating the queen of Earth may be a little more complicated than you're used to.
