At some point it occurs to her that the singing qualifies as a human doing magic and has to suppress a shiver of fear. She is here and not there and not going to be murdered for breeding purposes. 

Nobody here's gonna kill you for singing magic songs. Breeding purposes?

Human magic is hereditary; part of the point of killing any human who exhibits magic is so that the next generation will have less magic in it.

Oh, I guess that makes sense if you don't want your humans to be magic for some reason.

If humans had more magic they might be able to make [elves] stop enslaving them.

Oh. Orcs couldn't get out from being enslaved like that but most of them don't learn to do any magic anyway, I don't know why.

I don't know what your replacing-slavery-with-bunnies criteria are but even if you don't wanna I'm sort of curious if you could.

"Well, nobody in your world hurt my orf, so I'm not all that motivated to try, but I bet I wouldn't have too much trouble."

--I have no idea if you could win a fight with the Emperor; he, too, is supposed to be crazy powerful. And apparently he's sort of you. So.

"I'd rather not fight him at all, if he's as much like me as it sounds, but if he's as much like me as it sounds it shouldn't take me too long to convince him he'd rather not rule the world."

It would be nice if she could motivate him to free the rest of the humans but she can't think of any way of talking him into it and trying to manipulate him seems like an obviously bad idea on a wide variety of levels. Maybe she could talk him into rescuing her family, though. 

She wants you to rescue her family but she's being awkward about it.

"Aww." He ruffles Lyrendi's hair. "You can just ask me for things, I won't mind! Sure, I'll rescue your family."

"I mean in my defense if you keep knowing my thoughts as soon as I think them you're gonna know what I want before I ask for it no matter how free I feel to ask for it."
