"No, I'll be okay with the stamina potion, thank you." And she drinks it.

Sten watches to make sure she drinks it all, then takes the empty bottle.

"Back to the inn," he commands, pointing at the door.

She nods. "Yes, ser," she says, even as she obeys.

Sten stops, suddenly, and turns to look at her.

"That means something to you than it does to me."

She tilts her head at him, confused, but not sure how to ask her question.

"My role in the Qun meant I could say ser with certainty. Purpose. When you say it, you were forced into it. Into a role not meant for you."

She's quiet for a moment. "It's habit," she says quietly, after a moment.

"Habit means something different to us, also." Sten seems actually angry at that.

She shrugs a little. "It is what it is."

"No. No, it does not."

He does not explain himself this time, but stalks into the inn.

She isn't sure what to do with that, but follows after him, anyway.

Sten plants himself in a corner and does not move.

"Hey, Blaze," Azry comes up on Blaze, smiling softly.

Blaze waves a little at Azry. "Uh, hi?"

"Come and sit with me, us elves gotta stick together." She manages to take up a whole table by herself.

That gets a faint smile, and Blaze joins Azry at the table.

"Now," she says, taking Blaze's hand (though watching for discomfort. "I've had a discussion with Wynne."

Blaze lets her, but goes still when Azry mentions a discussion with Wynne.

"She recognises she overstepped. Severely. And casting accusations at Zevran like that, well. Zevran doesn't need nor deserve that. I'm sure you agree."

"No," she agrees quietly. "He doesn't. He's been nothing but...respectful."

"The other part that Wynne didn't seem to grasp is that someone who has been through what you and Zev have, you need to be given choice. You need to know that you can pick to do something, or turn it away. Wynne is used to apprentices who will do whatever she says, because she knows best."

"Ah- that is- I don't-"

She runs into a problem with trying to claim that she doesn't mind, that she's used to following orders, because she's unsure, exactly, of how to explain it without Azry deciding it wasn't true. (Isn't sure herself that is is entirely true.)

“Hey. It’s okay. You still need direction, everyone does. You just also need the chance to turn something down that makes you uncomfortable.”

She nods slowly. "I- uh. Yes?"

"That bit of nastiness aside, how're you liking Orzammar? Did you guys find something fun to do?"
