She has one of her servants wait outside the Magnificent Mansion with orders to practically drag Cansellarion in when he walks by in the morning, insisting the the Duchess wants to see him. "Don't actually startle him," she does warn him, because Cansellarion's a powerful adventurer, but she isn't that worried about anything other than rudeness, because he's a paladin and even when startled paladins don't leave people bleeding to death in the streets.
