Today, Beacon Hills High School prepares to welcome a new student! Several new students, in fact; a whole class of them. As summer gives way to fall, so too does freedom give way to restriction. Get in your seats, everyone.
"Huh. Extracurriculars. It would look really awesome on my college applications..."
"Yearbook is full of the type of person you want to know. Achievers who still know how to socialize, and have real interests and skills besides. I can't guarantee you'll make friends there, but it's worth trying, right?"
They arrive. Danny takes a seat at the front.
"....sure. I'm just gonna-" She takes another picture of Danny and moves on. Sitting away from him, but still near the door.
After English is lunch. Lunch provides a plethora of options. Juliet can sit with anyone she wants.
Well then. She goes on over to Jackson. "Hey, future President. I'm assuming the gesture was an invitation to sit?"
"You're welcome to, yeah. Juliet, these are my friends. Friends, Juliet."
"Hey. You can sit anywhere but there," he says, pointing out one of the empty seats.
"Ohh. Okay, now all this makes sense. Danny and Lydia. The fabled popular kids," she jokes, "Is there a price for admission here?"
