Today, Beacon Hills High School prepares to welcome a new student! Several new students, in fact; a whole class of them. As summer gives way to fall, so too does freedom give way to restriction. Get in your seats, everyone.

In which case Matt helpfully instructs Coach Finstock to his destination, and Coach Finstock calls him "champ", and Matt steps out of the car.

"You're going to see him off right? Boys like that, if you see them off."

"Yes, Coach."

She hops out of the car after Matt. What's his house like?

It's a well-maintained suburban home with two stories and a two-door garage. Nothing about it gives her any information about the people who live there, not anymore than their neighbors.

"Oh, you miss me already, huh?"

"I have to walk you to your door, I'm a gentleman."

So she walks him to his door.

"Thanks for today. I had a good time."

"Does that mean I get a goodbye kiss? For a job well done."

"Only since you asked so nicely."

He goes in for a briiief kiss.

She makes it worth it.

It is.

"But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? Good night, Juliet."

He goes inside.

She watches him for a moment, and then spins around walking back to the car.

"Could you please take me to the mall, if it's not too much trouble? I'll go from there."

"Sure, is that where you're staying? I stayed at the mall for a couple of months when I was younger. It was kind of hard, staying out of sight, but I learned some valuable lessons doing it."

"Nah, I've got a place. I just need to pick up some supplies."

"I've never understood the mall."

"What's not to get? There's so many options and food. Have you been to that ice-cream place? They have this weird Curry and Mint ice-cream which is pretty much the best thing in the world."

"I once had ice cream from a Peruvian cow. It wasn't that much different from American ice cream. I think she was probably kidding about the Peruvian thing, we were nowhere near Peru and we picked up the ice cream in Akron. Have you ever been to Akron? It's a friendly place."

"California born and based. Never even left the county. But I'll put it on my wishlist."

"I hope you don't distract Daehler from his lacrosse career. He could really be something."

"Have you ever even see him play?"

"Of course not, but Byrne said it, must be true. He's got an honest face."

"I only saw his skeptic face. I assumed that was just his face."

"I guess we never do know what's in a person's heart. Here we are!"

"Thank you! I hope the rest of the afternoon is teenage free."

"God knows I get enough of you all at school. Have fun."

She gets out of the car and heads on off into the mall.
