Today, Beacon Hills High School prepares to welcome a new student! Several new students, in fact; a whole class of them. As summer gives way to fall, so too does freedom give way to restriction. Get in your seats, everyone.
Zach comes down a few minutes later and locks the door. "I'm sorry, Juliet. I love you."
She waits till she can hear the steady beat of her dad's heart which tells her he's asleep, then opens the door with her key. She grabs her bag and quietly makes her way out of the house. It's around 3 am.
She runs to school.
The school is, theoretically, locked.
This doesn't matter much to a sufficiently motivated werewolf.
It does not! She enters the school and heads straight to the girls locker room. She's a bit dusty and she has dirt all on her clothes from the run. Shower?
Then use it she does.
When she's done, she decides to go exploring. With her camera, obviously.
!!!
Juliet explores the dark room, she will stay here until school starts if she's left unattended.
No one interrupts her.
She hears movement outside eventually. The janitor, pushing a cart down the hallway.
Juliet finishes off what she can and then packs up her stuff. She leaves the In Use sign on and exits the room, attempting casual.
The art teacher, setting up for the day ahead, seems to object to this, but stares in shock rather than articulating any specific complaints.
"I- you should ask for permission next time, but students can use any rooms we have, that's what they're for."
Arrive to homeroom she does.
The teacher calls attendance, and the students recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and then they move on.
Erica catches her on her way out.
"Hey. You haven't been in school. What happened?"
"Hey! Uh. I screwed up and my dad got upset. I was grounded." She smiles at her. "Did I miss anything exciting?"
