Dreamshaper!Felix drops on Beacon Hills

In a moment Felix was simply enjoying flying through the many portals of the Shattered Skies. Then a flash of bright light and then he isn't in the Shattered Skies anymore.

Instead he is above a town, no portal in view. He checks his cellphone and... no signal, this is likely a kind of pocket dimension.

Feeling confused and lost, Felix flies down, searching for people or a place where he can use a phone.

"Yes, I would rather not impose that onto you." Please read that as a polite way of saying that you should staying of this. "Since I'm already here, I could answer your questions, but if it is an inopportune time, I can always come back later, I have a lot of time in my hands."

"If you're offering, I wouldn't minded hearing about your immortality. How hard is it to share?"

"I can't do it. My brother is the one that produces it, but he is in another universe. I don't know enough about the local magic to be certain there isn't a way to share using it, but I would guess it would involve a lot of power or clever exploitation. It also automatically comes with wings and random weather-related powers, making it harder for one to go out in the street without cover." Felix waves at the window, that shows the still foggy outside.

"I understand. It was worth a shot. Do you need someone to check for tampering?"

"I have the means to notice future tamperings, and likely the means to reverse this one, but what did you had in mind?"

"We know a druid who can take a look at you, at least confirm there's no local magic affecting you."

"If it is no trouble."

"No trouble at all. I'll see if I can get her to stop by tomorrow."

"Well, thank you. Will she ask questions about the wings?"

"No, she's one of ours. She'll leave you alone at my request."

"Will she be bothered if ask too many questions about local magic?"

"I don't think she would. Try it and see."

"Okay, any more questions? I'm unsure how much you know about my capabilities? I don't know if I interrupted something..."

"No, I think I'll leave you two to talk."

And he does.

"I don't really have anything I'm dying to ask."

"Me neither. I didn't even read much from the book, got distracted by the weird translation magic. I could test a couple of things about that with you, but I could do that with Scott's people back in the complex."

"Sorry I couldn't be more help about the language thing, but maybe it's some interaction between what you can do and our world's magic? No evil third party involved."

"No, I mean, I wanted someone to help me test what happens when I try things like saying: Dalkaila, Dalkaila and Dalkaila."

The first "Dalkaila" sounds normal, the second and third... sound normal, but she is suddenly aware that Dalkaila means "Dawn-light island-province".

"I got a translation the second time. It's a nice name."

"Ah, thank you. I was trying to pack more information the third time I spoke."

"Well, it looks like it worked. Anything else you want to test?"

He sings. Can you understand when I use sign language? She can, it is weirder than the speech translation, but only noticeable so.

Then he taps on a nearby surface. Or when I use morse code? It works again.

"Yes to both."

"At least it is useful. I have more ideas for testing, but they require better prep or a sample of people with a variety of languages including people that don't have share any languages. Thank you for your help."

Presumably, now Allison will conduct him out.

She does.

"Have a good night, Felix."
