Dreamshaper!Felix drops on Beacon Hills

In a moment Felix was simply enjoying flying through the many portals of the Shattered Skies. Then a flash of bright light and then he isn't in the Shattered Skies anymore.

Instead he is above a town, no portal in view. He checks his cellphone and... no signal, this is likely a kind of pocket dimension.

Feeling confused and lost, Felix flies down, searching for people or a place where he can use a phone.

Felix looks at Scott confused. "I heard you have... problems between the two factions."

"The two factions?"

"Hunters and werewolves. I may have gotten him confused when I was explaining some history."

"Oh. No, we work together now."

"Oh, okay. He did forgot to mention that. And I wanted to meet more people so I could get more sides of the story anyway."

"Well, here we are. What do you want to know?"

"Well... everything about the supernatural underworld and how it works? Werewolf traits? Specially behavioral ones? I think Scott implied there is more than one kind of werewolf and I want to know the differences? How many werewolves are out there? Now that I think about it, what is mountain ash and why Dr. Deaton thought it could stop me? Oh, and I very curious how the entire thing remained a secret."

"Basically, I have a lot of power to throw around, and I would like to know more so I can be responsible about it."

"There's usually one pack to each town, more in big cities. Packs are usually at least four wolves. They can get pretty big before there are any problems, especially with born werewolves. Their pack is their family and their family is their pack."

"What is the average per pack? And per big city? A fermi estimate gives me... a minimal population of one hundred thousand werewolves in the US. Does that sound accurate? Os the US a good average to estimate world population?"

"Also, sorry for the way I said I had a lot of power earlier, I meant I have a lot of potential for change and want to use it for good. If it turns out it is better for me to stay out of the supernatural, I will."

"The only pack I've met has two members right now. The pack that used to live in this town had at least ten. A hundred thousand sounds right. It's never hard to find some if you know where to look."

"There's nothing wrong with wanting to help people."

Felix thinks... he doesn't need to reveal his ability to do an werewolf census just yet.

"What about the mountain ash?" Felix asks the doctor.

"Mountain ash protects my office from supernatural creatures. Until I cleared it away, Scott couldn't come in."

"Stops how? Does it need to be in that powder form or something that wouldn't blow away by the wind?" Or maybe hidden..."

"The wood of this building is carved from mountain ash. I use powdered form to close the circle, and to open it."

"Does it need to be powdered for that? What happens if a supernatural tries to break in anyway?"

"I suppose I could use some sort of movable piece of wood, but there's magic in completing the circle that might not work the same way. Until I open it, the barrier is impermeable."

"Oh, interesting. How impermeable? It's a magical property of the mountain ash or the supernatural creatures? Does it also make it impermeable against things that aren't supernatural creatures?"

Oh, boy, he sure makes a lot of questions.

"Mountain ash only traps supernatural creatures, and only when used by someone that is not superatural."

He almost asks what stops anyone to just blow the dust with their breath or use explosives and firearms... except that just before he speaks it occurs to him that either this doesn't work or it does and maybe he shouldn't announce these exploitable ideas out loud, for all he knows there might be some really delicate politics that he just barged into. He will see if can talk with Deaton alone then.

"How much of my capabilities Scott already mentioned?" He asks so ast to not keep his mouth open.

"Enough to be going on with. You're altrustic and not cruel, so I suppose I should thank you pre-emptively for whatever you plan to do here. I do wonder about...Sky, as you called him."

"Sky?"

"My twin from the mirrorverse. I should probably meet him, but Scott wants to 'prepare us' for it, since we can't take care of myselves."

"Yeah, when Scott's dimension was created it duplicated some people. What do you want to know, Dr. Deaton?"

"To what extent is he independent?"
