Halliwell Manor has been empty for several years. The layer of dust that has accumulated on the furniture is unpleasantly thick. There are cobwebs in every corner, waiting to spring themselves on an unsuspecting visitor. The rooms smell musty, like a waterlogged library. Though the garden shows signs of maintenance, the interior is oppressively lifeless. Without people to fill it, the house has become a shadow of its former self. Underneath all of that, the place is the same as the sisters remember. Halliwell Manor looks like home.
That gets a chuckle out of her and she touches his forehead with his. "Yeah, please don't."
"You know, I'm starting to feel left out. What's been going on over there?"
"Some relationship drama between Felicia and..." should she say husband? better not. "Theo, but you know Felicia she is too much of a sweetheart to hold a grudge."
"Right, Theo. That's still a thing? What about you and Fernie, doing anything fun?"
"We are participating in their relationship drama. I think that answers your second question. Why? Planning something?"
"I'm always planning. I was wondering if you wanted to check out a crime scene."
"A woman was murdered in her house. They tried to make it look like an accident, but it's definitely arson."
"Well, they don't know. My dad thinks it's arson. It's just a few neighborhoods over."
Theo would kind of rather hug his girlfriend wife and not think about anything else, but it's not his call.
"I'd be okay staying here. We could go over the powers I have and how Felicia wants to use them."
