The aftermath of Chell leaving Aperture Science at the end of Portal 2.

Not always faithful to canon, but assumes familiarity with canon (including Portal Stories: Mel).

Core assumptions / deviations from canon:
- Chell has no autobiographical memories prior to Portal.
- Portal 2 ends (meaning Chell leaves the facility) approximately the same time as Half-Life 2: Episode Two ends.
- Doug survived the events of Portal 2: Lab Rat, and has a between-games backstory that allows for that.
- Chell and Doug crossed paths during Portal 2, and they leave the facility together.
- Chell was able to speak in Portal but chose not to, whereas she mysteriously has aphonia as of Portal 2 and currently cannot speak.

Everything else can be assumed to be the same as canon unless otherwise stated.

(I haven't played Half-Life: Alyx and don't know if it shows anything that would have ramifications for this setting. Any deviations from its canon are unintentional, and may or may not be changed after I play it.)
