Shepard leaves the car running, but leaves, joining Wildling in the fray, radioing Killjoy. "Keep an eye on our rabbit, he's running!"

He runs down the alley, fast and with ease- he's good at running, and then suddenly ducks down to the right, pushing through a slightly hidden gap in the fence that leads into a random persons courtyard. He continues running, getting as far away as possible from this fucked up shit.

Killjoy swears and turns around to the other corner of the roof, and looks down towards the alleyway. She just spots him just as he disappears through the fence.

"He's gone through the fence, fuuck. I can't see him from here, but it looks like he's heading south east!" She calls through the radio.

Shepard knocks a Templar unconscious, rounding on the next one. An elbow to the gut, a punch to the head and then Wildling is there with her blade, finishing off the job.

The last man turns and runs, and they let him leave.

"Our man's going south-east, any ideas why?"

"Probably heading to his apartment. Where the Templars are most likely lying in wait." Wildling sheathes her blade, and the two return to the car. "This is what happens when you make me interact with people."

"Well, you got him out of the store. You were halfway there!" Shepard grins at her.

She touches the earpiece connecting her to Killjoy. "We're heading to the apartment, coming or staying?"

"...can I blow up the building first?"

"Oh, Killjoy. You are a card."

"As amazing as that would be, I don't want us anywhere near the domestic terrorist list. Let's go."

"You've become so responsible, Wild!"

"...never say that to me again." She gives an affected shudder.

"Oh, come on. We've blown up buildings before! I could even make it look like an accident! It's a liquor store, it'll be easy."

"Down, Killjoy."

"Let's go get the boy before he gets himself, and probably us, killed."

Shepard snorts. "You're the boss, mom."

She starts the car.

"Spoilsports." She takes down the last visable Templar. "One minute!"

She quickly slings her gun around to her back and jumps off the roof over to the fire escape on the opposite building, then and drops the remaining distance and lands neatly.

She runs over to the car and jumps into the back. "Ayyyy. Less than!"

"I'm so proud of you."

Shepard peels out of the alley way, driving way above the speed limit, but who cares for those when you're an Assassin?

"....do we know where this kid lives?"

"Lucky for you, I'm everywhere," Exile chimes in over the radio. She rattles off his address.

"Let's rock."

Meanwhile... Seth finally makes it to his apartment. He's sweating and out of breath, but he made it. He hurries to his back door and unlocks it with the keys on his belt. He feels naked without his phone, he'd left it in his locker at the store, and he so fucking relieved to be home and had been forced to have a landline so he could have the internet. He opens the door, rushes inside and runs straight towards the phone is the kitchen. He grabs it and starts dialling 911.

The phone line is dead.

Greeeat. Fuck. He hangs up the phone and checks the phone line. It looks fine, but he unplugs it and re-plugs it. He picks up the phone again. Better?

Nope.

He slams down the phone and groans, sliding down his kitchen counters and onto the ground. What the fuck does he do now?

...maybe his housemate is home. He stands up quickly and heads out of the kitchen to the lounge room and the staircase.
