"Hi Kira, excited about the trip?"

Wagwagwagwag. Kira is SO EXCITED! He bounces a few times just to show how excited he is before jumping up on the bed for scritches. “Shhiiiiiinx!”

One of Liz’s roommates yells out from her own room. “It’s Arceus damned early in the morning! Ughhhhhh”

Kira looks bashful for waking people up.

"Maybe a little too excited there Kira. I guess I should make breakfast that usually makes it up to them."

She carefully packs the last few items into her backpack before nodding and walking quietly to the kitchen.

The happy little Shinx follows along, wagging his tail like crazy and rubbing against her ankles. Making sure to be relatively quiet though. “Shinx shiiiiii”

Liz makes quietly opens up the refrigerator and the cabinets before taking out the fixings for waffles. It's a special occasion she can take the time. She also gets out some PokeBlocks and berries for Kira.

Ohhhhh treats! Kira digs into them with all the enthusiasm of a Pokémon that hasn't eaten for days. Even though he had plenty to eat last night. Kira is a happy Shinx.

It's great how easy Kira is to please sometimes. She turns her attention to making up the mix for the waffles and once that's done she starts making tea.

Who Isn’t pleased by treats? Treats is a great thing to be pleased by! He scarfs them down quickly and spends time rubbing against her ankles while she cooks. He is excited for today!

She's excited too. It's time for a change, seeing more than this one settlement and mostly just a handful of locations. After the tea is ready she sips at a cup and makes herself a first waffle while she's waiting for her roommates to be awake. It would be rude to leave without saying goodbye and she'll miss them, ambiguities, eccentricities and all.

Yuri stumbles into the kitchen wordlessly, blearily going to the fridge to chug iced coffee straight from the bottle. Now she has something cold and caffeinated in her she looks up at Liz. “Oh… today. Yeah. It’ll be weird not having you around.”

Sakura comes following her out as if shes been awake for hours. Draping herself across Yuri as Yuri chugs her iced coffee and petting her head. “She made waffles for us, isn't that sweet of Liz? Are you gonna say thank you?”

“Thanks….” Yuri mumbles.

Kira is excited more of his friends are here! And awake! So he’s allowed to make noise! “SHINX!” Happy barking and running around the feet of all three of them.

"It's going to be weird for me too, not coming back here every night. Not having the two of you around."

“Yes yes I’ll even miss you too you little pest.” Yuri scratches behind the Shinx’s ears as he rubs against her legs.

“You better call us! Often! Or I’ll be very disappointed and might even fly Big Bird over to where you are tell you off.” Sakura has her hands on her hips as she reminds Liz to call.

Yuri groans at the mention of Big Bird. “Thats always been such a stupid name for a Fearow…”

Liz laughs both at the threat and the by-play. "I promise to keep in touch. Besides now that I'll be away you two can be as loud as you want."

Sakura grins and leans into Yuri. “Hear that? As loud as we want~” Definitely using that tone of voice that implies innuendo.

Yuri blushes slightly and pushes Sakura off her. “This is why everyone thinks we are dating. Cut it out.”

Kira is just a happy Shinx bouncing around and waiting to go have fun exploring with owner!

"What exactly would have to change to count as dating Yuri?" She smiles innocently.

Sakura wiggles her eyebrows. “Oh you know, we would have to do the kind of thing that makes the grannies at the daycare gasp with shock.”

Yuri blushes even more and outright pushes Sakura away. “Stoooooooppppp. I don’t doooo thaaaaaat. By Arceus you are a degenerate. And you get worse every year! Next thing we know you’ll be that person that owns entirely too many Lopunny’s.”

Kira likes lopunny’s! They have hands, so they can give him scritches. And they speak pokemon so he can tell them just where to scritch.

"Excited about meeting new Pokemon Kira? Is that why talking about Lopunny has you excited?"
