Tabitha-No-Last-Name, young vampiress, is hungry. Not for blood, she ate a deer that morning, but rather for more conventional fare. So, she has picked a house without a decent home security system, and is now rummaging around their fridge. Upon finding some raspberry jam, bread, and margarine, she sets about making herself a sandwich.
Zeke winces. "Ooh, tough break buddy."
"Bodies are stupid," he muses from the ground, where he has fallen. He doesn't seem inclined to get up.
“Let all boys fear my power!”
"I'll get you back later! Ugh. We should go back so my mom doesn't worry."
The children run back. Stiles turns it into a race again, but this time he loses by a fair bit.
Ms. Gojos is in a tree, listening and looking and smelling the world around her. She jumps down when she sees them.
"Welcome back. Did you all have fun?"
"Pretty good! We taught Stiles nature!"
"We did running and fighting. I won running."
"That's great, Stiles. What about you, Zeke? Did you have fun?"
"Well, I didn't lose my boyness so..."
“It’s fine. We heal fast.”
She hugs Stiles tightly.
”We should go meet your mother.”
"Sure," says Zeke. "Will probably be a couple months on foot."
”In the meantime, let’s try not to do too much fighting. I’d rather not have anyone losing their boyhood until I understand vampires better.”
“After we talk to their mom.”
Fine. Stiles will just pout as they walk, until he forgets and decides to race the twins again.
Zeke wins handily.
Stiles would like Tabby to teach him to go fast.
"Well, I'm sure you've noticed the better aerodynamics without the pants and shirts and things."
"Yeah, it's way better. I think my mom wants me to wear clothes, though. How did you convince your mom?"
"...She doesn't wear them either."
"Was she a vampire her whole life?"
