After a Saturday spent on toying around with poison recipes (just the theory, nothing practical yet), Ghassan thinks he's ready to talk to the school nurse. It takes some doing to find his way to the infirmary, but when he does, he's surprised to find the door shut. He'd expected the infirmary to have an open door policy. It must be to protect the nurse- apparently, she's a mundane. Wonders never cease. He knocks lightly.
Okay for FUCK'S SAKE -
Marian briefly considers whether to delegate "answering the door" and decides that, actually, in this specific instance, everyone else seems to be even more occupied than she is? ....She's not really doing anything useful, right now. Wen Qing is doing vital signs and also knows mysterious medical magic, and the New York kids are - panicking about mysterious New York criminal investigation stuff??? And she's not, in fact, doing anything incredibly urgent right this second.
She answers the door. "Uh, hey. Is this an emergency."
"Ghassan. I'll stop by again on a weekday, during my free period. Sound good?"
Ghassan is wondering what kind of medical emergency allows for the nurse to step outside the infirmary- maybe there's a mal and an honorable person would offer to help. There aren't any of those in the Scholomance. He doesn't.
"....Yeah. Okay, sure."
She should definitely remember to tell Wen Qing about this kid? .....She probably won't at all remember to do that unless she writes it down, like, in the next thirty seconds.
"- Uh, thanks, take care...?"
Most awkward social interaction EVER but it's still way less bad than her entire day today.
