Miguel doesn't know what he's doing, but he knows how gangs work and it's bad to look like you don't know what you're doing. So instead, he walks up to kids who are visibly not knowing what they're doing and asks them who they're here with. This...probably won't get him stabbed? Some places that'd get you stabbed but he thinks a fancy school with a bunch of fancy people isn't that kind of place.

Ennis is under strict instructions to circulate through the room and introduce herself to people. She smiles and nods and says, "Ennis Reilley, Manchester," and confesses her affinity when her read is it won't get a laugh and moves on and on and on. Too early to be attached.

Nia is bouncing up to anyone not obviously Chinese with a power sharer on!

Sean is trying to avoid meeting people and Poppy keeps making him.

Maybe he should've mocked up a power sharer, even though he's got no one to share with, because it makes you look like you have allies. Probably that gets seen through right away, but on the other hand who's going to remember anyone they meet in this massive crowd?

Liath is wearing a power sharer! Is this girl bouncing up to her perhaps a candidate for minion?

Montréal - a small enclave consisting of three freshmen and a junior, at the moment - is hanging around in a visible space so Alexius can find them once he's found some candidates for the supply run they're planning. In the meantime, they're keeping an eye out for anyone interesting who might want to come along.

Supply run? That sounds important. He'll go on a supply run.

She'll go on that supply run as well.

The three freshman and one junior are very approachable. Probably. Or at least Angie is. Alexei, Zed and Sara are kinda just standing there in each other's shadows.

Riley thanks the people who offer him water, taking note of who seems the most altruistic- he can use that later. Then he joins his fellow freshmen, looking for someone who looks like they're with an enclave, or who look lost. If there aren't any enclavers who need minions, the next best thing is to lead a pack of lost and confused independents.

Anemone comes in late, but not so late that she's the last one, or anything. She takes note of the people who look like they're from enclaves; she's never seen one before. She takes note of a lot of things, actually, memorizing the room layout and memorizing faces and faces and faces until she bets she could recognize anyone in this cafeteria, not that that's useful because she doesn't yet know their names or anything else about them.

She needs to make friends. All the spells in the world won't help her in here if she's all alone. Her great-grandfather didn't say anything about bringing in packages for people, which she sees some other people distributing, so she's going to have to do it cold. Which is fine, probably; there are enough kids in here that she can probably try the same thing about twenty times and by the twentieth time have figured out the way to say it that works.

Who's a good person to practice on...
