She has the folder - not clutched to her chest, she hand-inked these poems and doesn't want to crinkle them, but she wants to be clutching them to her chest like the wind might steal them -

The opening day of the Student Art Gallery is decently busy. Amanda's not a fan of crowds, but it means she'll be able to slip away easier -

Though it also makes finding the woman she's looking for a bit harder.

Amanda wanders into the Sia Yashagoro section (ahhhh she's so good at art, no way are Amanda's poems enough), then finds the woman herself, and freezes like a deer in the headlights, staring.

She's standing off by herself, taking a little break from mingling and feeling very pleased with herself. All these people are here for her and she didn't even have to kill anyone for it! Well, not that she would kill anyone for this. Not in this life anyway.

Okay Amanda you can do this it's only a pretty girl who you really like who doesn't even know your name -

She'll end up standing a bit closer, still staring creepily, and possibly blushing by now.

Sia notices her. She's kind of hard to miss.

"You're kind of supposed to be staring lovingly at the art, you know. Not that I'm complaining..."

Eeep!

"I made these for you!" she blurts, shoving the folder at Sia.

She blinks down at the folder in surprise.

Great her crush has the folder time to scram and possibly go die of embarrassment.

Sia watches her go with a little amusement. Well. That was sure a thing.

She opens up the folder, very curious about what all this was about.

It's poems, carefully handwritten, each with notes on which painting or group of paintings inspired them.

The first:

A wolf
Who watches
The child sleeping
But does the wolf
Know that I
Watch them?

The second:

We don't know
Our friends
Until
We lose them

The third:

The wolf at the door
Howls high and sad
The dark night
Is not warm
Come in darling
The light is for you

She reads them twice, three times, and goes to read them again before she's interrupted by one of her professors who want her to present to them one of her signature pieces. She kind of absently does so, though her thoughts keep coming back to the poems and the girl and she may be blushing a lot.

They're very obviously about her. About her art. Which is... so flattering. Even among all these people admiring her work. This was different. This was personal. It's been a long time, lifetimes, since someone has paid such attention to her.

She finishes her presentation and excuses herself. Is the girl still here?

Nope! Long gone.

Disappointing. Or does she mean for Sia to hunt her down? That sounds exciting. This world isn't really boring, she has everything she could ever need at her fingertips. But she does miss a good hunt.

Speaking of hunts -

A certain blur of a little sister is going for a tackle hug.

Sia laughs and catches her, spinning her around. A few other guests step back to avoid being hit by the flying teenager.

"Hey sis! Tired of being adored yet?" Cherish asks, giggling.

"I don't think she's capable of that," her (slightly older) brother says with a small smile, coming up behind them. "Hey Sia. Liked the art."

She doesn't deny it. They know her very well. "So you found your portrait then?"

"Very flattering. The scales especially were accurate," he says, voice more than a little bit sarcastic.

"I quite liked mine, for one." And there's her parent. Ey smiles at Sia. "Blew them away, I hope."

"Always. It's in our genes, we can't not."

"As perfect as I made you."

"I would hope so. You do like to gloat about it a lot."

"You three are my greatest accomplishments, how could I not brag?"

"Do you think Samiramis would concur or be super jealous?"

Ey laughs. "You'd have to ask her."
