There comes a time when Óðinn asks Vili how feasible it would be to kill Ymir.
Eventually they find what they're looking for.
What does Óðinn think?
"...What is this made of? Do you know?"
"No! I haven't seen anything like it before!"
"Hmm. But this one is well-preserved. So either this sort of thing wasn't common, or it was but whatever destroyed most of them didn't touch this. ...Or it could be new."
"I wonder if it grows. Should we leave it and check back later?"
Is there anything else to find around here now that they're not in a hurry?
Óðinn sure wants to find out.
"Maybe we should try digging. Not close enough to disturb the... that... just in case, but somewhere around here."
Then Loki is going to be a small digging creature, pick a spot, and go for it.
"...How did you do that?"
Loki resurfaces with his usual form.
"I don't know? It's just easy for me."
"Show me again?"
He can do that!
"Can you do that more slowly?"
It's trickier than just doing it as one... motion?--but he can do that.
And now they can try to copy him.
Bounce bounce bounce!
"Just a little more... Like this?" He does it one more time, slowly again.
Then they can try to do it a little more like that.
Then eventually they can learn to do that.
And then they can find out what might be buried around here.
"Vili is going to love this," they say of the box.
"We shouldn't open it until we get back to her, then. It could be that what's inside is easily lost."
