let's go find someone who actually knows performances firsthand

The Archduchess wants the Songbird to consult on the legal clause she's writing, and she shouldn't be in a committee right now. So Ivette has been tasked with finding her and bringing her over, as promptly as possible.

Now, where would she be?

Laia has post-giving-a-speech-to-the-convention drop. As soon as the floor meeting was through she cancelled her own committee, sending Eloi around to tell everyone it was off today, and took him out for ice cream. She is sitting under a tree in the park with her bodyguard (who refused ice cream) lurking nearby and Eloi at her hip.

Then it will take a little while for her to be tracked down, but the convention hall is not that large and someone saw her leaving in a direction.

"Songbird Solandra?", she says eventually, curtsying slightly.

"I work for the Archduchess, and the Rights Committee is considering what to do for permitting performances in the censorship law. It would go more smoothly if you were present to ask about whether it is sufficient."

"- today, or do you mean to invite me to tomorrow's meeting?"

"She requests your presence today, if you're willing. They're currently in session considering this question and a few other matters that she would like to see on the floor tomorrow."

"Thank you, Songbird. I'll let them know you're on your way."

So she goes and drops Eloi off and comes back (toting her bodyguard) to join the Rights Committee.

And they'll be forewarned and also Ivette will tell the Lord Mayor that Solandra seemed exhausted and she should probably keep that in mind.
