After the committees are wrapped up for the day and everyone is released to go get dinner and see themselves to their lodgings, Narcis finds the only child delegate. He has to scan over the halflings and one abnormally short woman but there's only one human child so he's not hard to identify once spotted.
"Delegate. A word?" He can't read the boy's name off his placard.
"Yes?"
"I've heard someone say that you are returned from Heaven."
"Oh, yes! I was asked to return here a short while ago."
"I think the fellows at the temple of Erastil would like very much to hear what it was like there. I would myself."
"Oh, certainly! I had almost forgot, I meant to ask the clerics of Erastil if they wanted to learn to read. I have heard they cannot, and it can be quite useful."
"I can't, at least. I told all my children too, to forget the alphabet till the teachers gave up on them and sent them home. I think that was the right call at the time, but it's inconvenient now, I'll give you that."
"I have heard the schools here were very bad. But reading may not be the worst thing the people of Cheliax are missing. Naima told me that you have forgotten very many things, and how it is for things to be all right. I came back to tell everyone about that, most of all."

- I have heard that generally when a child passes away they go not to anywhere in particular but to the Boneyard. How did it happen you went on from there to Heaven?"
"Oh! I did go to the Boneyard, yes. I wandered there for many years. Then the birds came to get me, and took me to the courthouse, and told me afterward that I should go to Heaven. I do not remember the trial itself."
"Is it possible to learn or - guess - what became of another person who died in childhood?"
"I am not sure. The armies of heaven have great magic for finding people across all the planes, but I do not know how, or if humans have such magic."
"Another delegate said he could summon a lantern archon. Is it that simple -?"
"Oh, yes, we can be summoned by mortals. It has only happened to me once."
"But would you have been able to find someone if you were asked?"
