And the vertigo ends and the world stops spinning in more than one place.
Jean finds himself in what is obviously a meeting room. Surrounding by very obviously important looking people.
Not to mention two...
"Fated magic can get weird." Kiss. "But it's no reason to distract us from snuggles."
Snuggles! Eventually, Felix stretches. "Cuddling is lovely, but I kiiinda want to go out for a walk." He takes Jean's hand.
"Okay," he agrees, in an adoring tone which manages to suggest he'd have said the exact same thing to a suggestion that they jump into an active volcano.
Well, luckily volcanos are not part of itinerary.
They get dressed.
Feranno covers Jean's eyes and they teleport.
They are standing in a sort of observation deck on the mountainside. The cityscape stretches down below them, it's a very well organized city and from this angle they have the perfect view of a nice crescent shaped park with paths and lakes beautifully arranged to intertwined with each other.
But the most notable features are the tall portals. Seven of them, each leading to a different place and with a different sky. Each distinct view is just as pretty as the one from the mountain they are standing on.
It's no naked Felixes, but it is nevertheless very pretty.
"Welcome to the second city of Mars. We couldn't name it after you-your alt, so instead we named it 'Louis Mandrin.'"
He looks a bit wobbly-kneed. And adoring. Very adoring.
They are physically and emotionally supportive. Also, that earns him a kiss.
He approves of this outcome.
"And all this is ... yours?"
"Well, yes. In the sense that we - with the help of your alt's organization - helped build it. This is my native universe and we are not as technologically advanced."
"But we have been using multiversal resources to improve... well, everything we can."
He is at a loss for words but can make faces to compensate.
Snuggle "You're too adorable."
"You're amazing. I love you so much. I knew..."
...that's a less happy at-a-loss-for-words.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Knew he could do it."
"Our alt." Hug.
They hug. It's not a very frequented area.
"I could have been so happy," he whispers.
They squeeze. "You still can be. We will be there for you."
