"...huh. Well, I did find the crystal where the angel had been. Maybe they have a way of getting to other worlds, but we only got a little bit of it so we can only get to the nearby ones?" Shrug. "So you think you can do flight? Can you do immortality? I am all for immortality. And maybe weather could be cool, like if we could make hurricanes."

"I can do flight and weather, now that I notice they aren't, like, part of the whole angel thing. I think I can do immortality but it is very strong immortality. Not sure if there is a shortcut."

While she is doing that she is also trying to make mirrors.

"I am gonna be immortal and have a tornado full of flying immortal dinosaurs," Pru declares gleefully.

Maira sporfles again. "I have to focus!" She mock-whines. "Want to play with a flying mirror while I figure out the other stuff?"

"Okay!!!"

Maira mirror-teleports to where the new mirrors are and hands the one meant for flying to Pru.

Physically, Pru doesn't look at all difference, but she can immediately tell she has now the power to fly. Just pick a direction and move there by force of will.

The direction she picks is up. Of course.

And up...

and up...

and up...

and up....

and downdowndownDOWNDOWN!

She curves up, giggling madly, before she can hit the ground, and repeats herself.

That is fun to watch, but Maira is trying to concentrate.

Once she gets past the whole VAST WELL OF INCREDIBLE MAGIC that is the angel magic, she can disentangle it's part and understanding what each thing does and poking it around, trying to figure out how to solve this problem and create the magic mirror. She doesn't know exactly what each thing does, but she can feel and intuit a lot.

Like, this thing for example, Maira thinks if she pokes it just the right way, she can duplicate the immortality. Not in the way they want, but in a way, which is means a step closer to the problem. So she tries poking it.

In the edge of her dimension a mirror is created and some part of Maira knows it shatters instantly. All she can feel is a glimpse of what was supposed to do... which was to turn one of the angels into himself? Or close to himself? Or turn himself into one of the angels? Well, that is confusing.

Also, not what she is aiming for. Maira keeps trying.

Across the Atlantic ocean, Felix feels something twist inside himself, the sensation is familiar. Basically, the same sensation he felt when Trevor was created, something splitting off...

And on this side of the Atlantic ocean, Felicia feels her knees wobble and her back hurts so much it feels like it's going to split open. She was talking with Rube at time and has to lean on the other nurse to not fall down.

Ruby catches her, wrapping a strong arm around Felicia to support her. "Are you all right, love? Dizzy spell?"

Felicia whines in pain."My back," she gasps.

Beneath the arm Ruby around wrapped around Felicia, she can feel... something moving or maybe growing. People start to notice that something is happening.

"Doctor! Someone get a doctor," Ruby calls, lowering Felicia gently to sit on the floor. "I'm gonna lift up the back of your shirt, love," she adds calmly to Felicia, already doing so.

Ruby sees feathers, and then a wing growing quickly . "A bird?" Felicia says confused and in pain.

The feathers are of a red-orange that is immediately familiar. Some of the onlookers gasp, another wing starts growing and a man pass out.

"You're going to be all right," Ruby assures her, firmly. "Shoo, all of you, if you're not going to make yourselves useful. Deep breaths, Felicia, love."

Most people ignore Ruby. Felicia shrieks in pain just as both wings burst explosively from her back, pushing Ruby away.

There is a moment of silence.

"I knew it!" Says one of the other nurses.

Ruby picks herself up and comes closer again. "Felicia? Has the pain stopped?"

"Yes...." Felicia says slowly, tentatively moving a wing so she can take a better look at it, "what just happened?"

"A miracle," says someone and they reach and touch Felicia's wing.

Several others take this as a cue to do the same. Felicia tries to take a step back, but that is hard while seating on the floor holding the remaints of her shirt.

"Is this a hospital or a zoo?" Ruby snaps at the onlookers, and scoops Felicia up bodily. "Hands to yourselves, were you raised in a barn? C'mon, love, let's get you somewhere private," she adds to Felicia, carrying her in the direction of an empty hospital room.

Another nurse has enough presence of mind to hear Ruby out and herd the onlookers away. Felicia is led to the empty room, she is still looking at her wings with a very disturbed expression. "What just happened?"

"Besides suddenly, wings? Not sure," she says briskly, holding Felicia's wrist to take her pulse and checking the base of the wings to see if Felicia's back is injured where they emerged.

Her pulse is normal for someone that just experienced something as traumatic as a new number of limbs. Her back looks a bit sore but not injured. The air around Felicia is very warm, like a fireplace. "I'm not pinching myself, because it wouldn't come close to that pain, but I don't know what this could be besides a dream."

"...a miracle, maybe," Ruby says, very quietly, like it's rather too presumptuous to say aloud.

"Do you think this what happened to the other angels? Am I going to f-" Felicia stops abruptly and looks at a seemingly random direction, "Ah... since this happened I have this feeling there is something very far away and I am pretty sure it's fair enough away to be in the other side of the Atlantic."

"...I mean, there are definitely things on the other side of the Atlantic..."
