Ding. "Yep," Saria confirms.

Sigh. "Okay. Oh well. So ... what now?"

"It seems like people are potentially appearing every so often, if you got here a few hours ago and we just got here now, so maybe we'll find something if we look around? – And see if there's some more stuff that we understand, could be you missed something by being non-native."

Theo looks at his snake briefly, then nods.

"– Okay, dude, what is up with that snake."

He shrugs. "It's cute?"

… It is potentially cute. If you squint. And ignore the occasional angry hissing.

"Yes, thank you, see, I'm not the only one who thinks it's creepy."

"I mean, it's a snake, some people are bound to find it creepy."

"I'm glad you can at least see that, but why do you have it around your arm and why are you not scared of it biting you, or cutting off your blood supply, or whatever?"

"… I mean, it didn't?" he says. "But. Okay but it's still this snake and I really don't get why you all can't see that it's not gonna hurt me, it's really obvious to me."

"Is there actually a reason that that's obvious to you?" Saria asks, glancing up from the phone.

He looks at it, then back at her. "It doesn't look like it wants to hurt me? It would be all –" he waves his hands a bit, "– not like it is, if it were planning on attacking me?"

"Can people where you're from read snake body language or is that just him?"

"Just him. And I think he's just--" finger circling around temple. "It looks freaky to me."

"I'm not loco," he responds. "Not as far as I can tell, and people can't usually read snake body language," tap tap translation, "but – yes basically I feel like I can read its body language."

"… And you don't think that's weird in any way and that you should possibly mistrust the snake?"

"Mistrust this weird place, sure, mistrust the snake, not really? It's not its fault."

"When we're quite through ascribing moral value to snakes..." Saria sighs. "...Oh, we should try and assemble a map of what we know of this place so far, would one of you two give me a hand?" She taps the phone to hide the translator in favor of her preferred graphics tool.

Theo is happy to help! He is also quite surprised at how she builds the map, since it seems to be yet more advanced technology that they have not yet used.

He asks Jay to fill in a few points and also remarks that they lost a building.

It's very useful software! Saria's pretty comfortable with it, she uses it a lot for customizing weaving patterns, she can demonstrate some of the neater features.

She ends up making something that's more like a graph than a conventional map, with connections between points marked and secondary colors to indicate places where things have appeared or disappeared. "Possibly a pattern will come together," she says hopefully. "Shall we go collect some more data points?"

"That sounds like a good idea," says Rashel.

Theo nods. "Should we check out the rest of the museum first, in case there's something here?"

He'll… poke at translations on his phone, that works.

"Why not, nothing here's tried to eat us yet, might as well get in our quota."

"What are we hoping for here, like, a snail that's just trying real hard to gum at us?"

The translation system is not good enough nor has it been fed enough information for Rashel to understand that immediately. Instead, she picks up a couple of things that fell out of her bag when she got transported here.
