Music Room 3, he said. Trust me, he said. Well, here's Kaede, trusting him.
He opens the door to Music Room 3.
"See, that's more like it," he says, grinning.
"No after-hours activities are officially endorsed by the host club."
"Wouldn't dream of saying anything of the sort."
Tamaki claps his hands together.
"Then it's decided! If you can get 200 guests to request your service, we will completely forget about your 8 million yen debt. I will train you to be a first-rate host myself!"
"Sure," he says, amusedly, then glances down at the pieces of the vase and back up at Tamaki. "So how come you're all incredibly magical?" Pause. "And what are you all called?"
"And what would a commoner like you know about magic?"
"A thing or two," he says, dusting his uniform unselfconsciously.
"We are the elite of the elite. If you believe we became this way by sharing our secrets with everyone who asked, you are very much mistaken."
"Oh? And do many people ask? I'd been under the impression it was all rather secret."
"Magic alone is not enough for a dynasty, which you would know, if your expertise went any farther than repairing clothing."
"You'll observe I'm not asking about how you manage your finances, I'm asking about magic in particular. And if you aren't willing to explain why this room looks like it's Merlin's Throne I don't need to explain to you how far my expertise goes."
"Why would I need you to explain something so obvious?"
"I'm Honey!" the smallest member of the group says, running forward and breaking the tension.
"It's really nice to meet you!"
"It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Honey. And I suppose it is obvious, regardless of after-hours activities." He winks at the twins when saying that.
They grin at him.
"And I'm Tamaki Suoh of course, king of this club!"
"Should I bow?" he asks, smirking a bit. "Perhaps call you your majesty."
"Don't encourage him."
"Should I be encouraging you, then? But I'm sure someone of such a vast intellect doesn't need the likes of me to tell you anything, whatever I come up with will be obvious to you."
"Do you like cake?" Honey asks, grabbing onto one of Kaede's hands.
"I'm not much a fan of food in general but you won't see me refusing," he says, his eyes lingering on Kyoya for a moment longer than they strictly needed to.
